N-iX in Kraków seeks a Lead DevOps Engineer to drive AWS migration and security initiatives. You will design scalable CICD pipelines, manage ECS/RDS deployments, and implement IaC with Terraform and Ansible while collaborating across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• AWS certification (SA Associate/Pro) or AWS Developer; hands-on production AWS experience (ECS, RDS, networking)
• Strong Terraform IaC; experience with Ansible
• Production code experience in PHP, Python, or TypeScript
• Cloud migration project experience (lift-and-shift or re-platforming)
• Security-focused: vulnerability assessment, patching, hardening
• Ability to collaborate across teams in a cross-functional environment
• Available to work Toronto time zone business hours

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute migration of services to AWS (ECS, RDS, networking)
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities; apply patches across infra and apps
• Build and maintain IaC with Terraform and Ansible
• Contribute hands-on development in PHP and/or Python
• Coordinate migration cutovers across teams
• Document migration runbooks, infra changes, and security remediation
