Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Native Developer to build a paved-road AI-native platform from the ground up. You will craft patterns, APIs and tooling on AWS, using Python and FastAPI, and drive governance and automation across pipelines.

The role emphasizes serverless architectures, IaC with Terraform, and contributor-level impact in a fast-moving program. Hybrid work within Poland and global opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of application-development experience and ability to define patterns for other engineers.
• Proficiency in Python and FastAPI for production APIs and services.
• Strong AWS development experience, with developer tooling or cloud-native workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and encode application-development patterns and quick starts.
• Build production APIs and services using Python and FastAPI.
• Develop cloud-native applications and tooling on AWS.
• Design infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Automate CI/CD, SDLC, and governance in pipelines.
• Integrate AWS serverless services like Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions.
• Operate within a fast-moving program and contribute early.
