Job summary

Movens Capital is seeking an Associate to help source and analyse early-stage investments in CEE, with a focus on AI-driven tech with global potential. You will work directly with two partners, contributing across the deal lifecycle from sourcing to portfolio support.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years VC/PE investing or related consulting/M&A experience, strong analytical skills, and a passion for new technologies. Excellent teamwork and ownership are essential.

Job description

Movens VC is an early-stage fund focuses on CEE, mostly Polish tech companies (with preferences for AI-driven businesses) that have global (EU/US) potential. This person will help us source, analyse, complete transaction assist in growth breakthrough companies as a part of a recently-raised fund. Associate at Movens Capital would report to the two partners and would be involved in all aspects of the business.

Responsibilities

• Perform market research to help identify new investment trends and opportunities
• Identify, source, and evaluate new investment opportunities
• Financial modeling
• In-depth analysis of selected cases + documentation for investment committee (including financial forecasts and budgets)
• Support investment team in transaction process
• Network with peers in other Venture Capital Firms
• Assist individual portfolio companies in support of Movens VC board members
• Coordinate investor reporting

Candidate’s profile

• Min 1-2 years of fund (VC/PE) investing experience is desirable, but motivated candidates from consulting or M&A roles will be considered
• Strong analytical skills
• Prowess in gathering information efficiently and synthesising in wrting
