Job summary

Amentum is building an Integrated Delivery Solutions (IDS) team in Kraków and Warsaw, seeking a Senior Assistant Structural Engineer to contribute to design and construction across regulated sectors. You will develop models and perform analyses under guidance, growing independence with experience.

Based in Poland, you will work with international teams, applying Eurocodes and BIM tools, with English and Polish required for effective collaboration and reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BSc/MSc).
• 2–5 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Experience with Eurocodes EN 1990–1999.
• Experience using Revit and/or Tekla.
• Experience in RSAP, Staad Pro, SAP2000 or other finite element software.
• Fluent in English (B2+) and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings for concrete and steel structures.
• Support structural analysis and design under supervision.
• Perform calculations and checks using finite element methods or hand calc; prepare reports.
• Work in BIM environments (Revit / Tekla) and coordinate model reviews.
• Utilize Staad Pro, SAP2000, IdeaStatica, Mathcad for analyses.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
