Job summary

Team Up in Kraków is seeking a hands-on Art Director to own the visual direction of our new slots and hyper-casual 3D games with a gambling twist. You’ll set the art direction and create a large portion of the art yourself, leveraging AI tools when they speed up production.

You will collaborate with the game producer and developers to ship art-ready assets, lead external studios, and gradually bring more work in-house. Start January 2027, hybrid Kraków office 1–2 days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience creating art for slots or casino games.
• Strong hands-on Photoshop skills for symbols, backgrounds and paint-overs.
• Spine animation: rigging and animating.
• Practical experience with AI art tools and building workflows around them.
• Experience briefing and leading external art studios.
• Ability to maintain a consistent look across multiple art styles.
• Availability to work from Kraków office 1-2 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Set the art direction and visual style for new games, from first sketch to release.
• Produce art yourself: symbols, backgrounds, characters and paint-over in Photoshop.
• Design game UI: layout, hierarchy and colour.
• Animate in Spine: rigging, animating and fixing files coming from AI tools and external studios
• Build the AI art workflow from scratch - generation, paint-over, prompts, pipelines and reusable setups that end in Spine-ready assets
• Work side by side with the game producer and developers to get art into the games
• Lead external art studios (briefs, feedback, quality control) and bring more of the work in-house over time
