Job summary

Team Up Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Art Director for a fast-growing iGaming tech company. You will own the visual direction of casino and hyper-casual games, shaping the artistic identity from scratch and building AI-powered production workflows.

You’ll lead collaborations with producers and developers, coordinate external studios, and drive art quality across UI, symbols, backgrounds, and animations, while mentoring a small, autonomous team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience creating art for online slots, casino games, or iGaming products.
• Strong hands-on skills in creating game symbols, backgrounds, characters, and paint-overs.
• Practical experience with Spine, including rigging, animation, and fixing assets.
• Experience building and improving AI-assisted art workflows, including prompt engineering and pipelines.
• Ability to work across different artistic styles and adapt concepts to various game types.
• Good understanding of Game UI design, including layout and color composition.
• Experience maintaining a consistent artistic direction throughout the lifecycle of a game.
• Experience collaborating with and managing external art studios.
• Ability to collaborate with game developers on art implementation.
• Proactive, independent, hands-on approach and ownership of creative decisions.
• Very good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop the artistic direction and visual identity for new casino and hyper-casual games.
• Ensure visual consistency across assets, UI, characters, backgrounds, symbols, and animations.
• Create and polish game assets using Photoshop, including AI-generated artwork improvements.
• Work hands-on with Spine for rigging, animation, and asset fixes.
• Build and optimize AI-powered art production workflows from scratch.
• Collaborate with the Game Producer to translate concepts into visuals.
• Coordinate briefs for external studios and ensure quality standards.
• Work with developers to ensure smooth integration of assets into games.
• Take ownership of the artistic process from concept to release.
