Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior Architect to lead the architecture of domain-oriented projects across banking technology, collaborating with engineers, product managers and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

You will shape architecture vision for Data Products and Domain APIs, coordinate multiple delivery streams, and guide teams on data ownership, governance and API contracts in a complex, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Solution Architecture, Domain Architecture, Enterprise Architecture or a comparable senior architecture role.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering enterprise-scale data, API and integration solutions.
• Experience leading architecture across multiple teams, products or technology domains.
• Experience with Core Banking platforms.
• Experience working in complex, regulated environments with demanding security, resilience and data governance requirements.
• Strong knowledge of modern data architecture practices, including data product thinking, domain ownership, metadata, lineage and data lifecycle management.
• Practical understanding of API-first architecture, API governance, API contracts, versioning, security and lifecycle management.
• Ability to define resilient, scalable and secure solution designs, including functional and non-functional requirements.
• Experience enabling Continuous Delivery and DevOps through pragmatic architecture guidelines, automation and architectural runway planning.
• Fluency in English (C1)

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the architecture vision, principles and roadmap for Data Products and Domain APIs.
• Align business capabilities, data assets, APIs and technology platforms across multiple delivery streams.
• Oversee end-to-end solution architecture and coordinate the work of software architects embedded in individual delivery streams.
• Identify interfaces, data flows and cross-domain dependencies, and guide teams in evaluating solution alternatives.
• Establish patterns and standards for domain-owned data products that are discoverable, trustworthy, reusable and governed.
• Clarify data ownership, product boundaries, quality expectations, metadata, lineage and lifecycle responsibilities.
• Define API-first architecture principles, design standards, governance and lifecycle management practices.
• Guide the definition of domain boundaries, API contracts, versioning, security and reusable integration patterns.
• Define solution-level functional and non-functional requirements for availability, performance, security, scalability, resilience and operability.
• Work closely with Product and Solution Management, business stakeholders, engineering teams, Enterprise Architects and external suppliers.
• Communicate complex architecture decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, mentor architects and engineering teams.

Your Role

As a Senior Architect, you will help shape the future of banking technology by leading the architecture of domain-oriented projects that enable critical business capabilities across the bank. Working at the intersection of business, technology and data, you will partner with architects, engineers, product managers and senior stakeholders to create scalable, secure and resilient solutions.

Your Tasks
