Job summary

Svitla Systems is seeking a Senior Application Security Analyst for a full-time position in Europe. You will join a security-focused team to advance application security across CI/CD pipelines, cloud workloads, and API security, collaborating with developers, DevOps, and architects.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years of security experience, CISSP or equivalent, strong threat modeling, and hands-on expertise with Kubernetes security, IaC, and secure coding.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or equivalent security-focused program.
• CISSP, CSSLP, CEH, OSCP, GIAC or equivalent security certifications.
• Hands-on security experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Identify threats and recommend controls to support business goals.
• Define and improve security controls and baseline configurations.
• Assess control effectiveness across CI/CD pipelines and platforms.
• Own and evolve application and cloud security services and tooling.
• Mentor developers on secure design and coding practices.
• Drive security automation and guardrails across the SDLC.
