Job summary

Software Mind Romania & Poland is seeking a senior backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain API-first backend services that connect game providers and operators. You will build scalable, high-performance systems and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while upholding secure, maintainable code.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend software development experience with API-first solutions.
• 5+ years building high-availability, business-critical applications.
• Strong Java proficiency and clean, secure, high-performance coding.
• Hands-on PostgreSQL and cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
• Experience with CI, automated deployments, and test automation.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong English communication at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services for the Aggregation Platform and integrations.
• Build and enhance API-first solutions for scalable, high-performance systems.
• Develop secure, maintainable code following engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design integration solutions and improve architecture.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevOps practices.
• Participate in architectural discussions to improve reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Support Agile development processes and contribute to technical decisions.
