Job summary

Nord Security is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to join the team focused on threat protection and the NordLynx protocol. You will develop automated Android tests in Kotlin and collaborate across engineering, product, and QA to ensure robust releases.

The role emphasizes building reliable automated test suites, integrating with CI/CD, and maintaining high test coverage for Android apps in a fast-paced environment. Strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Proven Automation QA Engineer with 5+ years in mobile testing.
• Strong Android test automation using Kotlin/Java.
• Experience with Espresso, UIAutomator or Appium.
• Knowledge of API testing with Postman or REST Assured.
• Solid testing methodologies and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Android apps in Kotlin.
• Design and execute tests for new and existing features.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams on test plans.
• Analyze results, identify defects, and drive fixes with the team.
• Improve automation framework and CI/CD integration.
• Ensure coverage for regression and feature testing.
• Promote QA best practices and continuous improvement.
