Job summary

Smartpatient GmbH is seeking a Senior Android Developer to own the Android application, driving architecture, performance, and long-term evolution. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android architecture.

You will also own CI/CD, testing (JUnit/Espresso/MockK), and release management, while maintaining documentation and pursuing ongoing innovation in a fast-moving European team.

Qualifications

• Extensive Android experience with Kotlin expertise.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and modern practices.
• Hands-on with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flow, DI (Hilt/Dagger), REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable Android applications using modern architecture.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver features.
• Own the delivery pipeline including CI/CD, testing, and release management.
