Job summary

InPost Pay is building its own fintech platform, offering an end-to-end Android platform owned by a seasoned engineer. You will shape architecture, performance, and user experience for consumer and merchant apps, with responsibility spanning from PRD to deployment.

You’ll work in a diverse, international team in a hybrid model, contributing to architecture decisions while collaborating with backend and QA to deliver reliable, scalable mobile experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of native Android engineering experience including production apps on Google Play
• 4+ years with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose and/or Android View system
• 3+ years with Android testing using JUnit, Espresso, and Compose Testing
• Strong command of Kotlin features: Coroutines, Flow, sealed classes, extensions
• Experience with Clean Architecture, MVVM/MVI and module boundaries
• Experience with Hilt or Dagger 2 lifecycle and scope management
• Experience with Room, EncryptedSharedPreferences and Android Keystore
• Knowledge of Retrofit/OkHttp incl. certificate pinning and error handling
• Experience with Android performance profiling (Profiler/Perfetto)
• CI/CD with Gradle and automated signing/delivery
• Ability to read Java in legacy systems and integrate third-party SDKs
• Experience with feature flags and structured mobile events
• English at least B2 level
• University degree in IT/CS or related field

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture of a production FinTech Android app, including modules and Gradle structure
• Develop and maintain native Android solutions using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and View system
• Implement concurrency and state management with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow
• Work with Room, EncryptedSharedPreferences, and Android Keystore for persistence and security
• Contribute to PRDs, specs, testing, and release processes with feature flags
• Build and maintain automated tests with JUnit, Espresso, and Compose Testing
• Profile performance using Android Profiler and Perfetto focusing on CPU, memory, UI
• Monitor crashes/ANRs with Crashlytics and manage incident responses
• Support CI/CD automation using Gradle, GitHub Actions or equivalents
• Own integrations between native and web experiences (WebView, Custom Tabs, App Links)
• Collaborate with backend on API contracts, auth flows, event schemas
• Participate in production incident support and post-mortems
