Smartpatient in Warsaw is seeking a Senior Android Developer to take full ownership of the Android app, shaping its architecture, performance, and long‑term evolution. You will leverage Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android practices while collaborating with product, design, and backend teams.

You will drive the delivery pipeline with CI/CD, ensure quality through automated tests, and maintain clear architectural docs.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Android development with Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of the Android SDK and modern practices.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines & Flow, DI (Hilt/Dagger), REST APIs (Retrofit/OkHttp).
• Knowledge of clean architecture, design patterns, and modularization.
• Experience with testing (JUnit, Espresso, MockK) and writing maintainable code.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
• Ability to take ownership of complex projects and deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable, maintainable Android apps using modern architecture.
• Drive adoption of Jetpack Compose for declarative UI.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver features.
• Own the delivery pipeline (CI/CD, testing, release management).
• Maintain architecture documentation and promote code quality and performance.
