Job summary

The role is based in Lodz, Poland with a hybrid work model. IDEMIA Group seeks an experienced Android developer (5+ years) skilled in Kotlin and Java, familiar with Kotlin Multiplatform, testing frameworks, and secure mobile practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Android app development (preferably with SDK not with UI/UX)
• Kotlin, Java, Kotlin Multi Platform
• Testing: Groovy, Spock, JUnit, JC2 - internal testing framework
• Build/Release: Gradle, Jenkins
• Mobile Security: Android Keystore, certificate pinning, pairing, Google Play Integrity, secure communication with backend, mobile SDK protection mechanisms
• NFC payments (HCE implementation)

Responsibilities

• Transforms requirements into software according to design to maximize business value and customer satisfaction.
• Identifies existing software components to reuse in solutions.
• Applies software development best practices including coding standards, secure coding, reviews, source control, build, test, and operations.
• Contributes to requirement analysis and estimations.
• Supports testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities; fixes issues and adds enhancements.
• Builds software structure including functions and design patterns.
• Documents and demonstrates solutions with comments, diagrams, and charts.
• Contributes to Software architecture through technical studies and evaluations.
• Codes large and complex modules within agreed quality and deadlines.
• Performs design and code reviews and optimizes performance.
• Promotes organizational technical governance.
• Performs complex troubleshooting.
• Coaches and can manage a small team of Software Development Engineers.
