Job summary

IDEMIA is hiring an experienced Android software engineer in Łódź, Poland. You will transform requirements into robust Android applications, using Kotlin and Java, with Gradle and CI/CD practices. Hybrid work is offered with a preference for in-office collaboration several days a week.

You will work on biometrics-related software, focusing on secure mobile integrations, NFC payments, and Play Integrity protections, while potentially guiding a small team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Android app development experience.
• Proficient in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with Gradle and CI/CD (Jenkins).
• Familiarity with mobile security practices and Play Integrity.

Responsibilities

• Develop Android applications based on requirements and designs.
• Identify and reuse existing components and frameworks.
• Apply secure coding and testing practices, perform code reviews.
• Contribute to software architecture and design decisions.
• Coach junior engineers and potentially lead a small team.
