Job Title - Senior Android Developer

Role Overview

For our project in Poland in the area of banking, we are looking for the position of Senior Android Developer

Responsibilities

• Implementing new functionalities on Android using Kotlin
• Monitor and resolve issues
• Ensuring high quality by creating automatic, unit tests
• Conducting design, programming and implementation work based on understanding the context of operation, using optimal solutions from the business and IT point of view

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in developing Android mobile apps
• Very good knowledge of Kotlin (Java knowledge is welcome)
• Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack Compose
• Knowledge of design patterns (MVVM, MVP)
• Ability to work with REST API, JSON, WebSocket
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitrise)
• Knowledge of the Git version control system
• Ability to write unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito)
• Very good knowledge of object-oriented design and programming
• Experience in developing applications in client-server architecture
• Knowledge of relational issues of databases
• Knowledge of Clean Architecture and SOLID principles
• Ability to work as a team and communicate in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Knowledge of English at a level that allows for free technical communication

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of Swift and Xcode
• Ability to run and debug iOS apps
• Understanding the differences between Android/iOS platforms
• Experience working with multiplatform frameworks (e.g. Flutter, React Native, Kotlin Multiplatform)
• Familiarity with Samsung KNOX SDK
• Experience in analyzing crashes and logs from Firebase, Sentry, etc.
