Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Android Developer to design, build, and improve high-performance mobile apps for millions of users in an agile, cross-functional environment. You will contribute to architecture decisions and help deliver reliable, scalable software.

You will work with Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with international teams to ship quality Android applications and maintain robust UI and tests.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of commercial Android development experience
• Strong Kotlin proficiency and Android SDK hands-on experience
• Experience with Jetpack Compose for modern UI
• Solid knowledge of asynchronous programming with Coroutines
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices for scalable mobile apps
• Fluent Polish and English communication in an international environment

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications focused on performance and usability
• Refactor and optimize existing code and architecture
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and release
• Deliver high-quality, testable, maintainable code and contribute to technical decisions
• Participate in code reviews and promote standards and quality
• Create and maintain technical documentation for development and operations

As a Senior Android Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and improving high-performance mobile applications, working closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment. This position offers the opportunity to influence technical decisions, contribute to software architecture, and help deliver reliable, scalable, and user-centric products.

Your tasks

• Designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Android applications with a focus on performance, stability, and responsiveness
• Enhancing existing solutions through refactoring, code optimization, and continuous architectural improvements
• Building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline development, testing, and release processes
• Delivering high-quality, testable, and maintainable code while contributing to technical decision-making
• Participating in code reviews and promoting engineering standards, best practices, and software quality
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation to support development and operational processes

Requirements

• At least 6 years of commercial experience in Android application development
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and hands-on experience with the Android SDK
• Practical experience building modern user interfaces with Jetpack Compose
• Solid knowledge of asynchronous programming and concurrency using Coroutines
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD practices, and maintaining scalable mobile applications
• Fluent communication skills in both Polish and English, enabling effective collaboration in an international environment
