Job summary

Deel seeks a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to design data models in dbt, manage end-to-end data pipelines, and deliver accurate metrics across the business. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics
• At least 6 years of experience in data analytics engineering or BI development
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling tools (dbt) and data warehousing concepts

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data models (e.g., in dbt) aligned with data architecture and business requirements
• Manage data pipelines end-to-end from extraction to transformation and loading for timely, accurate analysis
• Utilize complex SQL queries and macros to transform data efficiently and optimize performance
• Incorporate data quality checks and cleansing routines to ensure reliable datasets
• Collaborate with data analysts and analytics engineers to ensure consistency in metrics and definitions
• Lead portions of meetings or improvements to analytics workflows when needed
