Job summary

Diverse Consulting Group is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer in Poland to design AI workflows and automate legacy modernization. You will develop automation that analyzes legacy code and rewrites applications to approved stacks, integrating AI-driven migrations with CI/CD and deployment platforms.

The role requires strong Python skills, experience with Git, testing, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and a solid understanding of CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Understanding of Git, code review, testing and maintainable code practices.
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Hands-on with or strong interest in LLMs, AI-assisted development, prompting and tool use.
• Ability to read and work with multi-language code including Java.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable with ambiguity.
• Good English communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

Senior AI Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and improve AI agent workflows, prompts and tooling for legacy application modernisation
• Develop automation that analyzes legacy code repositories and rewrites applications to approved technology stacks
• Integrate AI-driven migration workflows with CI/CD and deployment platforms including Tekton, ArgoCD and Ansible
• Work with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code and Maister
• Utilize Anthropic and other LLM providers within the modernisation framework
• Collaborate with application teams to transform migration use cases into repeatable automation
• Support development of a vendor-agnostic framework for code migration and modernisation
• Contribute to software engineering, platform automation and applied AI solutions

Requirements:

• Strong programming skills in Python
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals including Git, code review, testing and maintainable code practices
• Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and containerized environments including Docker and Kubernetes basics
• Hands-on experience with or strong interest in LLMs, AI-assisted development, prompting, agents and tool use
• Ability to read, understand and work with code across multiple languages, including legacy code such as Java
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills with comfort working in ambiguous and experimental environments
• Good communication skills in English and collaborative mindset

Nice to have:

• Experience with Tekton, ArgoCD or other GitOps and pipeline tools
• Familiarity with Ansible or other infrastructure-as-code tools
• Experience using agentic coding tools such as Claude Code or similar solutions and agent frameworks
• Knowledge of LLM evaluation, context engineering or Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Background in legacy modernisation, code migration or large-scale refactoring
• Familiarity with Java/Spring, front-end technologies or other target technology stacks
• Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments, including banking
