Job summary

Luxoft Poland seeks an experienced backend developer to work on a monitoring and diagnostics system for investment insights. You will design and deliver production-grade APIs using Python and FastAPI, with strong emphasis on security, versioning, and observability.

The role requires 8+ years in software development, AWS familiarity, and experience with CI/CD pipelines. Frontend exposure (React/TS) is a plus, alongside a drive to own end-to-end SDLC ownership.

Project Description

Monitoring and diagnostics system which fulfills both local and remote data access and analytics requirement, as well as local and remote troubleshooting purpose.

Responsibilities

Luxoft is initiating the development of a solution designed to generate investment insights based on sales and research materials. The solution will leverage advanced Agentic AI capabilities to significantly reduce the time required to prepare for client meetings and improve quality of the insights.

What is relevant to have

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend development experience with Python with a track record of clean, maintainable, testable production code.
• Production API design & delivery (FastAPI preferred), including versioning, documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger), and observability.
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred) beyond core compute/storage/DB - e.g., eventing, queues, serverless, logging/monitoring, secrets.
• Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines
• Debugging & problem-solving skills with strong ownership across the SDLC.

Generative AI & ML Requirements

• Vector databases and RAG patterns (indexing, chunking, embeddings, retrieval).
• LLM integration (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, or open source models) with prompt design, safety/guardrails, and cost/perf tuning.

What is nice to have

• Highly desirable: experience with AgentCore, AWS Neptune, Amazon API gateway
• Familiarity with ML fundamentals relevant to content generation (embeddings, tokenization, evaluation, fine tuning/LoRA, prompt+retrieval evaluation).
• Frontend development with React (TypeScript preferred) to build the application's UI (state management, routing, API integration, component testing).
• Understanding of event-driven architectures
