Job summary

INFUSE is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, build and run LLM-powered agents and AI features in production. You’ll cover the full lifecycle—from scoping a use case with stakeholders to architecture, development, deployment and ongoing improvement.

You will work with Python and TypeScript/Node.js, SQL, Docker, Kafka and AWS, using multiple LLM providers behind a shared gateway. This is a fully remote role with a strong emphasis on product impact and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with production systems.
• Proven experience building LLM-based agents or agentic workflows in production.
• Hands-on experience with agent frameworks and SDKs (Claude Agent SDK, LangGraph etc.).
• Hands-on experience with MCP and RAG: servers or tool layers and retrieval pipelines.
• Strong Python and SQL; comfortable with TypeScript/Node.js.
• Experience on AWS: Docker, CI/CD, observability.

Responsibilities

• Design and build LLM agents and agentic workflows including tool use via MCP and retrieval pipelines.
• Build and maintain MCP servers and tool layers enabling governed data access.
• Own quality and cost with telemetry, prompts/versioning and failover strategies.
• Ship through CI/CD with tests, containerized deploys and monitoring.
• Contribute to shared platform pieces like agent templates and gateway observability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to scope, prioritize and validate use cases.
