Job summary

Lingaro is seeking an experienced AI software engineer to build and evolve AI capabilities across products. You will design production-grade AI systems, from LLM-based experiences to retrieval pipelines, and create clear artifacts that improve delivery quality.

The role requires 5+ years in software engineering with production AI or data-intensive systems, strong cloud skills (Azure/AWS), and hands-on GenAI experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering with production AI or data-intensive systems.
• Strong cloud experience (Azure/AWS) and Generative AI familiarity.
• Master's degree in CS/AI or related field; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve shared AI capabilities and engineering accelerators.
• Design and implement production-grade AI systems including LLM-based experiences.
• Create technical artifacts (Specs, evals, interfaces) to enhance delivery quality.
• Define evaluation loops for quality, latency, cost, grounding, and reliability.
• Collaborate with product teams to align capabilities with customer value.
• Promote AI-native practices: Spec-Driven Development, automated testing, and agent workflows.
• Apply guardrails for reliability, observability, governance, and security in AI use.
• Prototype new approaches, turning AI capabilities into scalable building blocks.
• Guide peers through collaboration, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Work with AI PMs/POs and stakeholders to ensure feasible, valuable implementations.
