Job summary

Elsewhere Entertainment is seeking a Senior AI Designer to join the development of a new IP, fueling creativity alongside a skilled team to deliver innovative, exhilarating, and entertaining experiences. You will design and implement various non-player characters to bring the game world to life, within a culture focused on inclusivity, mutual respect, thoughtfulness, empathy, professionalism and teamwork.

• At least 3 years of professional game industry experience.
• Experience with visual and object-oriented scripting.
• Experience with custody over character animation requirements.

• Comfort with self-critique and accepting outside feedback.

Responsibilities

• Taking the ownership over design of combat and non-combat NPC and their behaviors.
• Writing both detailed and high-level documentation, defining NPC behavior and requirements.
• Implementing the AI using behavior trees.
• Understanding of animation requirements and dependencies.
• Working with an in-house object-oriented scripting language, database and animation tools.
• Clearly communicating complex ideas to our diverse development team.

As a member of the gameplay department, you\'ll design and implement a variety of non-play er characters to bring life to the game world.

As a member of the project, you\'ll help take the studio and our game from great to even better-with a focus on inclusivity, mutual respect (for ourselves and our players), thoughtfulness, empathy, professionalism, and collaboration.
