We are looking for a motivated and self-driven Senior Agile Coach with real‑world software development background and proven track record to drive large‑scale (30+ Scrum Teams, 300+ people) Agile transformations. This role reports directly to executive leadership and requires a high level of the ability to deal with ambiguity and navigate complex situations without guidance.
Partner with leadership to define and implement agile strategies that align with organizational goals and drive business value.
Assess current agile maturity, identify gaps, and develop tailored coaching plans for managers and the broader organization.
Proactively drive large‑scale cross‑organizational changes, normalize discordant views, and drive stakeholder alignment from Scrum team to executive leadership level.
Help identify and remove organizational impediments that hinder agile adoption and flow.
Promote engineering excellence practices (e.g., TDD, BDD, CI/CD, DevOps) and assist teams in their adoption.
Promote data‑driven decision‑making using metrics such as throughput, flow efficiency, time‑in‑status, and defect trends.
Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and communities of practice on Agile frameworks, product discovery, and flow‑based practices to foster continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
Support transformation initiatives and coach stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Proactively step in to hands‑on resolve the most complex impediments, working directly with Scrum Teams and their managers.
Build strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders, effectively communicating the value and progress of agile transformations.
Facilitate strategic planning sessions and help align multiple teams towards common objectives.
Act as a change agent, influencing mindsets and behaviors across all levels of the organization.
Foster cross‑functional collaboration and actively engage various subject matter experts (SMEs) across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure holistic problem‑solving and integrated solutions.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new developments in the agile space.
Continuously refine coaching techniques and materials based on feedback and outcomes.
Help establish metrics and reporting to demonstrate the impact of agile adoption and identify areas for further improvement.
Analyze division performance, delivery patterns, and constraints to identify opportunities for optimization.
Solid experience as an Agile Coach or senior Scrum Master in a software development environment.
Solid software development background as a Software Engineer or similar role.
Proven track record of driving large scale (30+ Scrum Teams) organizational initiatives across independent product organizations.
Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks/methods (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and scaling approaches (SAFe, Nexus, LeSS, or similar).
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering culture.
Very good analytical skills and problem‑solving mindset.
Proven ability to analyze high‑level processes and delivery data to drive measurable improvements.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities, capable of influencing diverse audiences, from individual contributors to VP‑level Executives.
Ability to influence without authority and work effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders.
Ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics and drive change effectively.
Knowledge of DevOps principles and engineering practices (CI/CD, trunk‑based development, automation).
Experience with EBM, flow metrics dashboards, and Agile performance reporting.
Workshop design skills (Discovery, Design Thinking, Impact Mapping, Value Stream Mapping).
Certification(s) such as PSM/PSPO II/III, CEC, PAL‑E, ICP‑ACC, ICAgile, SAFe PC (SPC).
