Job summary

AXA XL is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to support the Specialty Reinsurance Pricing team in Poland. Based in Wroclaw, you will work with underwriters and actuaries across regions, involved in pricing for Marine Energy and Whole Accounts, and contribute to strategic planning and capital models.

You will partner with teams in Bermuda, London and beyond, with exposure to executive management and cross-product projects within reinsurance.

Qualifications

• Experience in an actuarial/statistical function or team.
• Knowledge of the Insurance Industry.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to communicate complex problems clearly to others.
• High attention to detail, with rigorous and accurate work.
• Proactive approach to organisation with planning and prioritisation.

Responsibilities

• Work with actuaries and underwriters during renewals, focusing on Marine Energy and Whole Accounts.
• Assist with actuarial elements of the business and strategic planning.
• Develop actuarial pricing methods and parameters for regional projects or the Reinsurance Segment.
• Liaise with actuarial and underwriting teams in the region and across the segment.
• Produce management information and analyses to aid underwriters and management.
• Monitor and report on man-made accumulations across the portfolio.
• Contribute input to quarterly reserving and annual capital model parameterization.
