Job summary

Booksy is seeking a Senior Accountant for Group Reporting to lead end-to-end consolidation, intercompany management, and US GAAP financial reporting for a multi-entity global group. Remote Poland-based.

You will own monthly consolidation, FX translation, CTA, intercompany charges, and lender reporting, while coordinating audits and strengthening internal controls in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on accounting experience with multi-entity group consolidations.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including foreign currency translation and intercompany eliminations.
• Advanced Excel and ability to manage large datasets.
• English fluency for daily international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly group consolidation, elimination entries, FX translation, and CTA calculations.
• Manage intercompany charges and internal transfer pricing in-house.
• Maintain intercompany transaction register and ensure timely eliminations.

Working closely alongside the Senior Accounting Manager reporting, you will take ownership of end-to-end consolidation, intercompany management, and financial reporting.This is a dynamic \"build\" role ideal for an ambitious accounting professional looking to establish robust processes and expand into external and statutory reporting as our group structure matures.What You’ll Own:- Group Consolidation: Execute the monthly consolidation process, prepare elimination entries, perform foreign exchange translation, and calculate cumulative translation adjustments (CTA). Administer and configure the group consolidation tool.- Intercompany Accounting: Calculate recurring intercompany charges (IP/development recharges, group funding, interest, and service fees) in alignment with transfer pricing policies, transitioning the process in-house from external advisors.- Intercompany Matrix Management: Maintain a comprehensive register of all intercompany transactions to ensure complete, accurate, and timely monthly eliminations.- Reporting & Financial Statements: Prepare lender reporting packages, compliance covenant schedules, Group US GAAP financial statements, footnote disclosure packages, and annual financial disclosure checklists.- International Trial Balance Oversight: Review trial balance submissions for key international entities (South Africa, Mexico, Brazil), ensuring proper mapping to the group chart of accounts and maintaining data integrity.- Audit & Controls Support: Collect internal control evidence, track management letter recommendations, and coordinate audit request deliverables.- Equity Compensation: Oversee share-based compensation schedules, valuation tracking, and cost allocations across entities.- Treasury & Statutory Backup: Provide backup support for daily cash positioning and liquidity forecasting; assist the Statutory Reporting Manager during peak reporting cycles.RequirementsEssentially, to ensure you succeed in this role you're going to need:- 4+ years of hands-on accounting experience with proven expertise in multi-entity group consolidations .- Recognized professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).- Strong practical knowledge of US GAAP , including foreign currency translation and intercompany eliminations.- Advanced Excel proficiency and comfort managing large, complex datasets.- Resilience, problem-solving mindset , and strong interest in software/AI automation .- Proficiency in spoken and written English , essential for daily communication across international markets and external partners.It will also help you to have:- Big 4 or top-tier audit background with deep expertise in full-cycle financial reporting (statements, footnotes, control schedules), intercompany recharges, and cost-plus transfer pricing.- Hands-on experience leading or configuring new ERP and consolidation system implementations within a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.- Proven track record of managing distributed financial operations, including external bookkeeping providers and regional accounting partners.BenefitsSome of the benefits we offer are:- We're proudly distributed across the globe, with each market being remote-first.
