Job summary

HAVI Logistics Poland, a global supply chain partner, is hiring for a Finance role focusing on General Ledger and accounting postings in Kraków. The team supports month-end closures, prepares financial reports, and ensures accuracy of postings in line with local GAAP.

We seek candidates with 2–3 years in GL, strong English, and a degree in Tax or Accounting. SAP/Excel skills are essential, and there is flexibility for remote work per company policy.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of US GAAP will be an asset.
• Min. 2-3 years of experience in the General Ledger.
• Very good English skills.
• University degree in Tax or Accounting will be an asset.
• Good knowledge of Excel and experience with SAP.

Responsibilities

• Posts different accounting documents.
• Prepares and post journal entries.
• Verifies correctness of postings.
• Calculates and provides billing information.
• Prepares manual payments if required.
• Reconciliates balance sheet accounts.
• Supports the month/year-end processes, including the preparation of monthly financial reports.
• Supports the process of preparation of financial statements according to local GAAP.
• Prepares information, documents or reports required by external accounting and tax provider.
• Identifies and solves common cross-processes (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Treasury) issues.
• Supports internal & external audits, stakeholders.
• Proactively suggest improvement ideas to drive continuous improvement.
• Performs other tasks indicated by the supervisor.
