Job summary

AIS WSI Europe Sp. z o.o. in Radom, Poland, is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage the general ledger, ensure accurate accounting entries, and handle VAT/CIT responsibilities.

This full-time, on-site role requires collaboration with Polish and international finance teams and interaction with external auditors. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in finance, a degree in economics or accounting, strong Excel and ERP experience (Oracle advantageous), and fluency in English for international

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting.
• University degree in economics, finance, accounting or related field.
• Good knowledge of VAT regulations and Corporate Income Tax (CIT).
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Strong MS Office/Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems; Oracle advantageous.
• Must be able to commute daily to Radom for full-time on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of accounting entries.
• Reconcile balances and intercompany transactions within the group.
• Monitor timely settlement of liabilities and prepare payments.
• Prepare VAT, VAT-EU and other tax returns.
• Prepare reports and statutory filings for Statistik Poland (GUS) and other institutions.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Cooperate with external auditors during audits.
• Collaborate with finance teams in Poland and abroad.
• Maintain the fixed asset register.
• Issue sales invoices and record revenue and costs.
• Review accuracy of settlements per tax regulations.
• Support the Finance Manager during audits and finance projects.

Your responsibilities?

• Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring the accuracy of accounting entries

• Supporting the Finance Manager during audits and ongoing finance projects

Our expectations:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within an international company
• University degree in economics, finance, accounting or a related field
• Good knowledge of VAT regulations and Corporate Income Tax (CIT)
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Good command of English, enabling effective work in an international environment
• Accuracy, independence and excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with various stakeholders
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
• Experience working with ERP systems; knowledge of Oracle would be an advantage
• Ability to commute daily to our office in Radom, as this is a full-time, office-based position
