Executive Summary
This role focuses on managing accessibility-related knowledge resources, evaluating and creating training programmes supporting the accessibility of key Atos training, and driving upskilling initiatives for Atos employees. The position ensures that accessibility standards and best practices are embedded across the organisation through effective learning strategies and information management.
Key Responsibilities
Knowledge Management
- Develop and maintain a central repository of accessibility resources, guidelines, and tools.
- Ensure information is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to employees.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to curate and organise content.
Training Development & Delivery
- Design and implement accessibility training programmes for various roles and levels.
- Evaluate existing training materials and update them to align with current standards and technologies.
- Create learning paths for accessibility champions and technical teams.
Upskilling & Capability Building
- Identify skill gaps related to accessibility across the organisation.
- Develop targeted upskilling initiatives to address these gaps.
- Monitor progress and measure impact through assessments and feedback.
- Manage the Accessibility Champions Program.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with HR, Learning & Development, and business units to integrate accessibility into corporate training frameworks.
- Act as a point of contact for accessibility learning queries and support.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure all training aligns with WCAG, EN 301 549, and other relevant accessibility standards.
- Promote inclusive design principles across digital and physical environments.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards & norms, (WCAG, Section 508, ISO13066-1, EN 301 549).
- Strong understanding of accessibility & disability regulations (EAA, ADA, Equality Act etc.).
- Experience in instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Familiarity with digital accessibility tools and assistive technologies.
- Excellent organisational and information management skills.
- Ability to analyse training effectiveness and adapt strategies accordingly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Education, Human Resources, or related field.
- Certification in accessibility (e.g., CPACC, WAS, CPWA, ADS).
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools.
