Job summary

Squads is a financial technology company building products and APIs for the stablecoin economy. You’ll own identity and endpoint security across Squads, working with the Head of Security to ensure proper access, device baselines, and safe adoption of new tools.

This hands-on role runs the day-to-day systems, responds to anomalies, and builds the reviews and processes we’ll need as the company scales. You should think like an attacker, stay calm under pressure, and help the team move fast while

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating an enterprise identity platform with SSO and MFA.
• Experience managing MDM and EDR across a device fleet.
• Experience responding to security incidents, breaches, or compromises.
• Ability to assess vendor and integration risk, incl. AI tools.
• Scripting ability in Python or Bash for automation.
• Strong written communication and independent judgment.
• Knowledge of blockchain/Web3 threats, cloud security, SIEM and detection engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own identity and access management across the organization and enforce least privilege.
• Manage MDM/EDR and set security baselines for devices.
• Respond to incidents, investigate and document actions taken.
• Assess new tools and vendor risks before adoption; guide safe usage.
• Automate security workflows to improve coverage and reduce manual work.
• Draft guidance that non-technical teammates can follow.
