Job summary

Squads is a fintech company building products for the stablecoin ecosystem. We’re seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer to own security across Multisig, Altitude, Fuse, and related infrastructure.

You’ll review designs, read code, and drive verified closure on findings in collaboration with the Head of Security and CTO. You’ll lead threat modeling, secure code reviews, and vulnerability management, shaping the security posture as the team grows while balancing speed and risk in a fast-paced

Qualifications

8+ years in product security or security engineering with a software engineering background.
Experience leading threat modeling and architecture reviews for complex financial systems.
Proven ability to find critical vulnerabilities in large production codebases (TypeScript, Rust, Go, Python).

Responsibilities

Lead threat modeling and security design reviews for new products and infrastructure changes.
Perform hands-on secure code review across backend services, APIs, frontends, and Solana programs.
Own lifecycle for findings from audits, pentests, code scanning, and bug bounty.
Tune SAST, dependencies, secrets, and container scanning in CI/CD.
Review IAM, network controls, encryption, and secrets management across cloud environments.
