Job summary

Onomi is seeking a Security Operations Engineer to elevate IT security across identity, devices, and SaaS tooling. You will design and enforce secure configurations, build visibility into access and logs, and respond to security events as part of a broader risk-focused security program.

You will collaborate with the CSTO and apply a hands-on approach to bring the security layer to a production-ready state, balancing security with business needs and customer-facing reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience across identity, endpoints, tool configuration and logging.
• Ability to balance security with business needs and acceptable friction.
• Triage urgent security events without compromising safety.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace SSO/SAML integration helpful.

Responsibilities

• Approx. 35% focus on identity, access and lifecycle management including joiners, movers and leavers, access requests and reviews.
• Approx. 20% endpoint management and protection across macOS fleet, keeping devices in a known state.
• Approx. 30% security controls and access models inside multiple SaaS applications, plus alerts and logs.
• Approx. 15% building internal tooling for access reporting and cross-tool investigation.
