Job summary

Salve.Lab is seeking a hands-on Security Engineer for Application Security, GRC & AI. You will own security operations end-to-end, focusing on application security, vulnerability management, governance and AI-related threats, working directly with developers and leadership.

You will conduct secure code reviews, coordinate external security tests, and drive risk assessment and remediation in a fast-growing AI platform environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security engineering experience in applications.
• Experience with security audits and penetration testing.
• Ability to work directly with code and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security-focused code reviews to identify vulnerabilities.
• Investigate, prioritise and remediate security weaknesses across apps.
• Collaborate with developers to implement secure coding practices.
• Review code in Git/GitHub workflows and contribute to security improvements.
• Coordinate external penetration testing engagements and audits.
• Track vulnerabilities and ensure timely remediation with engineers.
• Develop and maintain the security risk register.
