Job summary

NCISG 3 NSB HQ in Bydgoszcz, Poland, seeks a Staff Assistant (Security) to supervise security-related activities, manage CRYPTO accounts, and coordinate security for NATO deployments. The role requires active NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET clearance, extensive crypto and COMSEC knowledge, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Active NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET clearance.
• Higher secondary education and vocational training in information security/ICT or related discipline with 5 years of experience.
• Good knowledge of NATO COMSEC, Crypto and security policies, directives and publications.
• Good knowledge of procedures for handling NATO CRYPTO material, especially accounting and distribution.
• Good knowledge of COMSEC principles and practices, including physical security standards for COMSEC.
• Knowledge of Crypto equipment and high configuration and operation skills.
• Good knowledge of COMSEC Accounting Reporting and Distribution System.
• Strong familiarity with IP networking technologies and security aspects.
• Excellent English communication, both verbal and written.
• Experience in risk analysis and implementation of INFOSEC protective measures.
• Recent 3 years experience with security systems and NATO HQ contexts.

Responsibilities

• Implement NATO security policies and manage functional security measures for 3NSB.
• Provide security input for communication plans.
• Manage and control crypto activities for garrison deployment; conduct security inspections.
• Maintain Crypto accounts and documentation; ensure proper safeguarding and destruction of Crypto material.
• Load crypto key material to End Crypto Units and perform level 1 troubleshooting.
• Organize shipment of Crypto equipment and support security arrangements for HQ.
• Assist in Force Protection and Security Arrangements (FPSA) and Garrison Support Arrangements (GSA).
• Manage access control systems and security awareness for HQ staff.
• Maintain records of personnel security forms and security systems (CCTV, ALarming, ANPR).
• Coordinate with security teams and ensure compliance with STANAG 6001 English standards.
