Qualifications

• Active NATO SECRET security clearance is required.
• Secondary education and advanced vocational training with 3 years post-qualification experience.
• Knowledge of CIS equipment maintenance and integrated logistic support.
• Experience with GS-related logistic strategy.
• English language proficiency at STANAG 6001 level 3322.

Responsibilities

• Plans DCIS maintenance within area of responsibility with focus on NATO Battalion operations.
• Coordinates logistic strategies by Logistics Support and Plans Sections.
• Manages CIS static equipment within NSB scope.
• Assesses maintenance of NATO Signal Battalion equipment.
• Coordinates logistics functions per ACO directives; operate vehicle up to 3.5 tonnes when required.

• Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 3 years post related experience.


• Knowledge of management and maintenance of CIS equipment and integrated logistic support.


• Experience with G|S-related logistic strategic focus.


• Language: English: Listening, speaking, reading and writing shall be at a NATO level of English 3322 (STANAG 6001). The work both oral and written in the post and in the Headquarter as a whole is conducted mainly in English.

Scope of Work

• Plans Deployable Communication and lnformation System (DCIS) maintenance within the area of responsibility with emphasis on future NATO Signal Battalion operations.


• Coordinates the Lcgistic strategic focus performed by Logistic support Section, and plans Section area of responsibility within operational focus in order to accomplish the NATO Signal Battalions' current and future tasks.


• Coordinates the management of CIS Static equipment of the NSB.


• Assesses the maintenance of NATO Signal Battalion equipment.


• Co-ordinates logistics functions in accordance with ACO and Battalion Directives.


• ln the provision of the required services the contractor will be requested to drive the vehicle, up to 3,5 tones, with passengers, load for long distances.

Background, Work Site lnformation and Environment:

NCISG 3 NSB HQ is located in Bydgoszcz, Poland and co-located with Polish Military Unit in a typical Secure Facility. The services will be required during the NSB normal working hours. Normal office working conditions apply.
