Job summary

Overview:

The Security Automation Developer demonstrates a high level of professionalism, working independently with limited supervision to manage projects and processes within the Cyber Security Engineering & Automation department. This individual contributor role leverages in-depth knowledge in security automation and a foundational understanding of related cybersecurity disciplines to adapt departmental plans and recommend optimal solutions and best practices. They are responsible for the execution of main activities that contribute to important security results, actively participate in small to medium-sized projects of moderate complexity, and contribute significantly to process improvements. The Developer performs a variety of complex tasks, often requiring detailed analysis to understand problems and supporting the delivery of solutions for intricate challenges where clear precedents may not exist. This role requires using knowledge of Bunge’s business and strategy to develop innovative solutions and drive results through high standards.

Main Accountabilities:
  • Manage projects and processes related to security automation independently with limited supervision, following specific functional policy and broad procedures to achieve established goals.
  • Responsible for the execution of main activities in security automation to obtain important security results for the Cyber Security Engineering & Automation department.
  • Participate in small to medium-sized projects of moderate complexity, actively contributing to process improvements within the security automation landscape.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of security automation and basic knowledge of related security disciplines to adapt departmental plans and recommend solutions and best practices.
  • Perform a variety of complex and non-complex tasks, requiring detailed analysis to understand problems and support the delivery of solutions where precedents may not exist.
  • Design, develop, and implement automated security solutions to enhance Bunge's overall security posture and operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to professionals and/or support staff on security automation tactics and implementations.
  • Drive continuous improvement by contributing to process enhancements and implementing innovative solutions to improve security outcomes.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.(Master's may be required at higher levels)
  • In-depth knowledge of security automation principles, tools, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
  • Experience with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms and integration with various security tools.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, frameworks, and related disciplines (e.g., network security, endpoint security, cloud security).
  • Ability to perform complex analysis and support the delivery of solutions to intricate security problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of providing leadership and guidance to technical teams and stakeholders.
