Job summary

Altium Limited, part of the Renesas Group, is seeking a Software Engineer in Test to join our R&D team in a fixed-term contract. The role focuses on designing automated test solutions and maintaining test infrastructure for Altium cloud products.

You will collaborate with development and product teams, implement test frameworks, and help ensure high-quality software releases through automation and robust reporting.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience in test automation and SDET roles.
• Proficiency in at least one OOP language (C#, Java or Python).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and testing tools and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure coverage.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and QA to understand features and testing needs.
• Execute automated and manual tests (functional, non-functional, regression, performance, security) and report findings.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and Agile processes.
• Participate in code reviews and suggest improvements to testing practices and tools.
