Job summary

Altium is seeking a Software Engineer in Test (SET) for a 6 months contract in Katowice. The role blends software development with QA testing to build robust automation and testing platforms for Altium cloud products.

You will design automated test frameworks, work with Dev and PM teams, and contribute to CI/CD processes. Strong coding skills in C#, Java, or Python and experience with testing tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing processes and tools.
• DB basics (MySQL, Firebird).
• Playwright experience - big plus.
• +4 years of experience in test automation or software development.
• English communication skills (written & verbal) required.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of test automation: Create, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand features, technical implementations, and testing requirements.
• Testing execution and analysis: Execute both automated and manual tests (functional, non-functional, regression, performance, security), analyze results, and provide detailed reports.
• Integration with development lifecycle: Integrate testing processes into the CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
• Process improvement: Participate in code reviews, recommend corrective actions, and continuously improve testing practices, tools, and processes
