Job summary

Seargin Ltd in Poland seeks a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and cloud services to ensure high-quality software delivery.

You will validate AWS-based applications, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with DevOps and development teams to improve testing strategies and framework quality.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in QA Automation, Software Test Automation, or quality engineering roles supporting complex software products.
• Strong programming or scripting experience using Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or comparable frameworks.
• Experience testing APIs using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
• Practical experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, EC2, CloudWatch, API Gateway.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native apps.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

Responsibilities

• Automated Testing Execution
  • Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automated tests across distributed application environments.
• AWS Application Testing
  • Validate applications, services, and business processes running on AWS infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Test cloud infrastructure, system integrations, and data flows across distributed systems and interconnected platforms.
• CI/CD Quality Integration
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing, continuous delivery, and rapid release cycles.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects while collaborating closely with development teams to support efficient issue resolution.
• API Testing
  • Perform API validation and automated testing using appropriate tools, frameworks, and industry-standard testing methodologies.
• Analyze test results, investigate failures, identify quality risks, and provide recommendations for improving software reliability.
• Quality Strategy Collaboration
  • Work closely with development, DevOps, and business teams to define testing strategies, quality standards, and acceptance criteria.
• Test Framework Improvement
  • Contribute to the enhancement of automation frameworks, testing processes, and overall quality assurance practices across projects.

Requirements

• QA Automation Experience
  • Proven professional experience in QA Automation, Software Test Automation, or quality engineering roles supporting complex software products.
• Programming & Scripting Skills
  • Strong programming or scripting experience using Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar technologies for test automation.
• Test Automation Frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or comparable frameworks used for automated testing activities.
• API Testing Expertise
  • Experience testing APIs using tools and frameworks such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent API testing solutions.
• Practical experience working with AWS services including Lambda, S3, EC2, CloudWatch, API Gateway, and related cloud technologies.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, distributed systems, cloud-native applications, and modern software architecture patterns.
• CI/CD Integration
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
• Software Testing Methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, defect management processes, test design techniques, and quality assurance best practices.
• Version Control Systems
  • Experience working with Git and version control systems within modern software development and delivery environments.
• Analytical & Communication Skills
  • Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting capabilities, communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
