Job summary

Heineken in Kraków is looking for a dedicated Scrum Master to facilitate Agile methodologies and drive team performance. In this role, you will ensure the team adheres to best practices while actively mentoring and coaching members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have SCRUM certification, experience in a multinational IT environment, and proven skills in stakeholder management and coaching. This position offers a dynamic work environment in the heart of Poland.

Qualifications

  • SCRUM certification is mandatory.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master in an IT environment is required.
  • Ability to drive optimization of processes is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating Agile practices and ceremonies for the tribe.
  • Coaching the team in creating product backlogs and user stories.
  • Removing impediments to progress and facilitating meetings.
  • Leading workshops and structuring team progress measurements.

Skills

Your responsibilities would include:

  • facilitating Agile practices and ceremonies as needed, eg weekly ceremonies for the tribe including weekly tribe alignment
  • actively asking and giving timely feedback to learn and improve
  • demonstrating leadership and actively mentors team members to adopt a truly agile mindset, including ownership, self -management, empowerment and experimentation
  • promoting a continuous learning culture facilitated through, continuousfeedback culture, growth mindset, learning from failure, and coaching and mentoring
  • ensuring Products in the Tribe and across the tribe are aligned in the Ways of Working
  • ensuring the quality of our vendors in Agile Ways of Working
  • promoting and demonstrating core principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability and visibility (being an ambassador)
  • ensuring a collaborative culture exists within the departments, its (external) development partners and their product teams, promoting team building and ensuring the entire team is engaged
  • identifying and supporting the team with removing any impediments/distractions that interfere with the team’s ability to deliver against their commitments
  • coaching the team in creating the product backlog, sprint backlogs and writing user stories in the most pragmatic way
  • managing ‘Work In Progress Limits’, making sure the team is not working on too many stories/tasks at once, and helping them get into a flow of starting and completing work in a predictable manner
  • removing all impediments to progress, facilitates meetings and enables people to resolve conflicts
  • leading or facilitating workshops
  • structurally measuring progress and maturity of the teams
  • working with other Scrum Masters to increase effectiveness of agile ways of working in the organization.

You are a good candidate if you have:

  • SCRUM certification
  • Scrum Master experience in an IT environment, experience as a coach will be a plus
  • ability to drive optimisation of processes in own scope of work
  • experience with Scaling frameworks, LeSS and or SAFe
  • experience with Jira or Confluence
  • working experience at Portfolio, Tribe and/or Organizational Level in the multi-national company
  • excellent communication skills, are able to manage and challenge your stakeholders
  • coach, facilitator and leader aiming to increase team's performance, satisfaction and motivation
  • an expertise in industry agile best practices and methodologies
  • enough technical depth and affinity with the product (eBusiness) to understand development and delivery issues within the team and judge their relative importance
  • experience in large organizations, an international setting and are able to work in fast paced environment, meet deadlines and perform at high standards
  • knowledge of the importance of creating value for both the business and the customer
  • experience with change management, leadership, coaching, solution oriented and continuous improvement
