Job description

Do you want to be Eurowind Energy's very first SCADA Specialist on the ground in Poland – working closely with our EPC, Operations and SCADA teams across our international portfolio as we grow our presence in the country? Then this could be your next role.

Who we are?

Eurowind Energy is a global and leading developer, owner and operator of energy parks. Based in Denmark, we operate in 16 countries around Europe and in the USA, and we are continuously growing our project portfolio. We believe in a future of renewable energy, and we have an ambitious plan of becoming the next generation’s “Power Major”. Based on a full value chain from greenfield project development to energy trading, more than 700 team members are dedicated to creating a greener future fueled with nothing but renewable energy!

We are looking for an experienced SCADA Specialist to join our SCADA Operation team. As our first SCADA Specialist based in Poland, you will work closely with EPC, Operations and the rest of the SCADA Operation team, supporting energy parks across Denmark, Germany, Poland and our wider international portfolio as we continue to grow.

Your role:

As our first SCADA Specialist in Poland, you’ll work closely with EPC, Operations and the rest of the SCADA Operation team, integrating and supporting energy parks across our international portfolio – not just in Poland. You’ll be part of a SCADA Operation team of 10 colleagues, primarily based in Denmark and Germany.

To help you picture the role, here are some of the tasks you'll be taking on:

  • Extract and integrate data from third-party devices and assets via protocols such as OPC UA, IEC 104 and Modbus, and APIs
  • Ensure assets and sites can be remotely monitored and regulated so operations and traders can manage production in real time
  • Develop automation scripts and tools (using Python and AI agents) to reduce manual work and boost efficiency
  • Track system performance via Zabbix and/or Grafana to quickly spot and resolve errors
  • Troubleshoot data, display and control issues, and coordinate fixes with external SCADA suppliers
  • Train and support internal SCADA users, and maintain clear documentation
What we offer?

You’ll join a team that’s open and direct, and that learns openly from its mistakes along the way. We’re not just looking for someone who knows the tech – we want someone who looks at a complex problem and instinctively asks, “what’s the simplest, smartest way to solve this?” – someone who brings creative thinking, fixes issues at the root cause rather than settling for quick patches and isn’t afraid to challenge how things have always been done.

  • A genuinely international environment, working closely with colleagues in Denmark, Germany and beyond
  • Meaningful challenges and real ownership as you help establish our presence in Poland
Required competencies and skills

We’re looking for someone with a solid technical foundation and a curious, structured mindset.

  • Relevant engineering degree (electrical, mechanical, automation, high voltage or similar) or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience configuring, parameterizing and testing SCADA systems
  • Familiarity with industrial protocols (OPC UA, IEC 104, Modbus) and network/cybersecurity fundamentals
  • Experience with Rotorsoft/Power Limiter, Ovation Green or SPRECON-V460 is an advantage
  • Fluent English and Polish; German, Danish are a plus
  • Proactive, analytical and collaborative, with a structured approach and a genuine eagerness to learn

Renewable energy is our future. And so are our people!

At Eurowind Energy we do our best to create a culture where everyone is valued and feels at home. You will notice this in your everyday work life, where you have the freedom to speak up and where your voice means something to us. We know that when you grow, we grow. Therefore, we strive to support you in what you believe is right and in your personal and professional development. We offer you an exciting job in an energetic and international environment. And we promise you: the wind is never standing still.

Developing, operating and managing wind and solar parks is not just pure business for us. It is a way to view the world. And with this worldview comes a genuine ambition to be one of the leading developers in Europe. Because creating a future run entirely on green energy matters to us.

We manage our own portfolio of projects and at the same time, we perform technical and financial management of projects. We have throughout many years experienced sustained economic growth in the number of developed projects and companies in management. And we continue to expect this. Simply because it is in our nature to keep developing – projects, companies and our people.
