Key responsibilities

SCADA Specialist is responsible for independent implementation, configuration of OneView/SCADA systems, as well as for integration of these systems with other automation devices. Configures communication, PLC controllers, other components provided by Opoura, conducts tests and diagnoses technical problems within projects related to OneView. Collaborates with the sales engineering department in pricing new projects, solutions. Collaborates with the R&D department in solving problems. Proposes new solutions based on specific customer requirements.

  • Implementation of OneView, including configuration of farms, substations, meters, loggers and other customer devices.
  • Creating and managing technical documentation such as SAT, Network Layout, IP Plan, Passwords and other project-related.
  • Diagnosing and solving technical problems.
  • Provide Trainings for Customers.
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure the highest quality of delivered solutions.
  • Proposing new solutions resulting from the specifications of the projects conducted.
  • Collaborating with external clients in adapting systems to their needs.
  • Skillful time management and assigned tasks.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact between stakeholders, clients, and internal teams.
  • Communicate project status, technical challenges, and proposed solutions effectively.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and implement improvements for future projects.
  • Identify potential risks (technical, security, or operational) and develop mitigation strategies.
Your background
  • Good understanding of the operation of SCADA systems.
  • Experience in working with communication protocols i.e: Modbus, DNP3, IEC101/104, OPC XML, DA etc.
  • Knowledge of network configuration and databases used in SCADA systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve technical problems.
  • Experience in teamwork, as well as independence in carrying out tasks.
  • Knowledge of English at an advanced level.
  • Communication skills for contact with customers.
