Job summary

Vincit is seeking an SAP Senior Integration Consultant to lead end‑to‑end integration work across SAP landscapes. You will design and own the integration architecture, build backend SAP solutions, and collaborate with customers to translate requirements into robust interfaces.

As part of a large SAP community, you’ll work with ABAP, CDS Views, PI/PO, CPI, and SAP Integration Suite while shaping future solutions and expanding the integration pipeline.

We're looking for a SAP Senior Integration Consultant to join our SAP community and help our customers design and build modern, reliable integrations across their SAP landscape. This is a role for someone who has done it a few times over: you set the technical direction instead of following it, and you own the architecture that outlives any single project.

What is the job like, really?

In this role, you lead the technical integration work within your customer projects. You are a hands‑on integration expert with a strong consultative mindset: you understand where the customer's business is heading and are not afraid to speak up when the current integration setup won't support it.

Because you can effortlessly connect end‑to‑end business processes with technical solutions, you'll also bring your expertise into commercial discussions. By doing so, you actively help shape future solutions and generate new integration work for yourself and your colleagues.

You'll join a large and skillful crowd of SAP experts, but you'll also work extensively with the entire Vincit ecosystem, which means you'll get to bounce ideas and develop your own expertise with great minds.

Here’s a Snapshot Of Your Key Responsibilities

• Owning the integration architecture: Set the technical direction across your accounts and make the architecture decisions that carry over from one project to the next
• Building and supporting the solutions: Work on the SAP backend side with technologies such as ABAP and CDS Views, and contribute across the whole project lifecycle
• Collaborating with customers and stakeholders: Translate business requirements into practical, well‑architected interface designs
• Ensuring high‑quality solutions: Apply SAP integration best practices and architecture principles, especially as customers transition from on‑premise to Cloud
• Leading the technical work: Guide and mentor other consultants, delegate effectively, and carry accountability for the outcome
• Building the pipeline with us: Take part in presales scoping and estimation, and spot where the customer's next integration need is coming from.

What are we looking for?

First and foremost, we're looking for someone with a real interest in the customer's business processes end to end, and the ability to consult and guide business process owners with that know‑how.

You’ll do well in this role if you enjoy solving integration challenges and understand that a good interface is built on solid business process knowledge, not just technical skill. You're comfortable working closely with customers and colleagues, and you keep developing further, particularly toward SAP's Cloud environment, since that's where the landscape is heading. This is a senior position, so we expect you to have carried responsibility for an integration landscape rather than for a single interface.

Experience And Skills We Value

• Real understanding of the business processes behind the interfaces, for example within SAP SD, MM, PM, or EWM, because integration work on its own isn't enough without this business context
• Production‑grade SAP integrations delivered with PI/PO, CPI and/or SAP Integration Suite, across more than one customer environment
• You have set the target integration architecture for a customer, not only for a single project
• At least one migration from on‑premise integration to S/4HANA Private or Public Cloud that you took a customer through, including what you'd do differently the second time
• Direct customer work: gathering the requirements, designing the interface, and leading your own work without a Functional Consultant or Solution Architect in the room
• SAP development principles, guidelines, and architecture known well enough to review and challenge someone else's design
• Hands‑on with APIs, OData services, and IDocs
• ABAP development without needing support
• Full professional proficiency in English, Finnish an advantage

It’s a Strong Plus If You Have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud environments
• Experience with SAP AI Core or other AI‑related SAP technologies
• Comfort using modern AI tools in daily development work, such as Google Gemini, Claude, or ChatGPT
• Front‑end experience with SAP UI5 and Fiori, a nice addition though not a core requirement for this role
