Job summary

Seargin is seeking an Senior SAP SD/MM Consultant with EU Tax to support a new project. The role involves rollout experience, template design, and end-to-end tax configuration in SAP S/4HANA. Remote work is available from Poland or Germany.

The ideal candidate will have solid SAP SD/MM expertise, deep knowledge of EU tax/VAT processes, and experience integrating with external tax engines. You will work across SD/MM and FI, ensuring accurate tax handling and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP SD/MM and EU VAT processes.
• Knowledge of cross-border and intercompany flows in SAP integrations.
• Ability to translate tax rules into functional specs for IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced tax determination in SAP S/4HANA using condition techniques.
• Coordinate SD/MM with FI to ensure consistent tax treatment across the supply chain.
• Configure interfaces between SAP and external tax engines (ONeSOURCE or Sovos).
• Support real-time reporting and local statutory requirements (SAFT, etc.).
• Lead testing (Unit, SIT, UAT) for tax changes and resolve production issues.

About the role

Currently, for a new Seargin project we are looking for Senior SAP SD/MM Consultant with EU Tax with rollout experience, template built, design.

Working mode: remote from Poland or Germany

Responsibilities:

• Advanced Tax Determination: analyse business requirements to design and deliver automated tax determination logic within SAP S/4HANA ( condition technique)
• Cross-Module Integration: Seamlessly integrate tax requirements across SD, MM and FI to ensure consistent tax treatment throughout the supply chain.
• Tax Engine Management: Configure and maintain the interface between SAP and external tax engines (e.g., ONESOURCE, or Sovos) for real-time rate calculations
• Digital Reporting: Support the technical setup for local statutory requirements, such as real-time reporting and SAFT
• Requirements Translation: Act as the primary liaison between the business and IT to translate complex tax laws into clear functional specifications.
• End-to-End Testing: Leading Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all tax-related changes.
• Risk Mitigation: Resolving complex production issues e.g. tax calculations fail or produce incorrect results in high-volume transaction environment, failing of e-invoice submission to government

Requirements:

Experience in:

• SAP SD/MM,
• EU Tax / VAT processes,
• chain transactions, triangulation, cross-border, and intercompany flows,
• integration of SD/MM processes with the finance area.
