Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the Deployment Team within a large-scale technology implementation in the manufacturing sector. The role is responsible for managing one or more implementations within the Deployment track, following a defined execution model. The Design phase has already been completed and implementation is currently underway. This role requires close collaboration between Central teams located in Copenhagen and local production sites in China, acting as a key liaison across regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timelines
• Oversee project execution to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved on time and within budget
• Monitor project progress and deliver regular status reports with clear back‑to‑green actions
• Proactively identify project risks and define Mitigation strategies
• Ensure high quality across all project activities and deliverables
• Maintain clear and regular communication with stakeholders to address issues and dependencies
• Allocate and manage project resources effectively
• Ensure the line of business is fully prepared for execution, go‑live, and operations
• Establish and manage a structured handover process to the operations and maintenance teams after hypercare
• Maintain detailed and up‑to‑date project documentation, including plans, reports, and logs

Key Requirements

• Proven track record in IT Project Management, supported by documentation and references
• Solid understanding of end‑to‑end IT systems and surrounding system landscape
• Strong experience delivering IT projects in technology or manufacturing environments

• Experience with SAP solutions beyond EWM
