About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Solution Architect to lead the evolution of a global Capital Investment Finance landscape within the pharmaceutical industry. In this strategic role, you will shape SAP S/4HANA solutions across Asset Accounting, CapEx and Leasing/IFRS 16, leveraging SAP BTP, cloud architecture, event-driven integration and AI-driven capabilities. You will collaborate with senior business stakeholders, enterprise architects and agile product teams to define technology roadmaps, drive architectural excellence and deliver innovative, scalable solutions supporting a global digital transformation.

Must have

• SAP S/4HANA (FI-AA, RE-FX, IM, PS) you’ll leverage SAP BTP, event-driven design, and AI capabilities like SAP Joule to build next-gen enterprise solutions
• 7+ years in SAP Solution Architecture, speak Fluent Cloud/BTP, and want your work to power breakthroughs that matter to millions of patients we need to talk.
• 7+ years of proven SAP Solution Architecture experience with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP FI-AA, SAP RE-FX (Leasing/IFRS16), IM, and PS (Required). Cloud Architecture & API Strategy: Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP),
• Cloud architecture, API strategy, event-driven design, and SAP Integration Suite (Required).
• Agile & SAFe Leadership: Demonstrated experience driving architecture within Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environments, supporting PI Planning, and defining Architecture Runways (Required).
• Data & AI Capabilities: Strong familiarity with AI-driven technologies (SAP Joule, predictive analytics) and ideally experience with SAP Datasphere (Preferred).
• Stakeholder & Strategic Influence: Strong systems thinker with an enterprise mindset, capable of acting as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, Business Owners, and Enterprise Architects (Required).
• Domain Expertise: Prior experience in Capital Investment Finance, Asset Lifecycle Management, or Global Shared Services within the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry (Preferred).

Tasks

• You'll bridge executive-level business strategy with deep technical design, setting the direction for global Capex, Asset Accounting, and IFRS16.
• Drive the Architecture Runway in a mature, high-impact Scaled Agile setup.
• Technology Strategy & Roadmaps: Define technology investment strategies and architecture evolution plans supporting claient multi-year digital transformation roadmap for the global Capital Investment Finance landscape (Asset Accounting, Capex, Leasing/IFRS16).
• AI & Innovation Leadership: Lead the adoption of AI-enabled business capabilities including SAP Joule, intelligent automation, predictive insights, and next-generation user experiences.
• Architecture Governance: Govern architectural decisions ensuring alignment with Enterprise Architecture, cybersecurity, compliance, data governance, and global technology standards.
• Agile & SAFe Execution: Act as the Solution Architecture lead within SAFe Agile Release Trains (ARTs), building the Architecture Runway and guiding product teams on solution design.
• Integration & Cross-Functional Design: Establish seamless integration architecture between Finance and cross-functional domains including Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Enterprise Asset Management.
