The position is based in Katowice with occasional office visits required.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English.

SAP Finance Project Manager

Join the IT team supporting the global financial transformation of a smart heating and energy technology organization. We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead SAP S/4HANA Finance initiatives and implementation of new processes in Controlling, Management Accounting and Financial Process Integration.

The role includes collaboration in an international environment and occasional visits (1x per month) to the Katowice office.

Responsibilities

• Leading projects in the IT Finance area as Project Lead / Single Point of Contact, as part of the global S/4HANA rollout program
• Execute projects in the SAP Finance area – planning, overseeing schedule, budget and achievement of project goals
• Work closely with Record-to-Report team, internal IT consultants and team managers
• Coordinating and supervising rollout tasks, defining the scope of work and monitoring their execution
• Collaborate with the business, GPO and controlling and accounting teams to define processes, prepare implementation concepts and recommendations in the SAP S/4HANA Finance area
• Participate in the design and implementation of new SAP functionalities in the areas of management accounting, reporting and financial process integration
• Ensure seamless communication between technical and business stakeholders and support teams within global and cross-cultural organizational structures

Requirements

• University degree in administration, IT, economic informatics or equivalent qualification
• Min. 5 years of experience as Project Manager or Consultant in SAP finance projects
• Very good knowledge in SAP Finance (FI/CO) and knowledge of related business processes
• Experience in SAP rollouts and leading implementation activities in large organizations
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance
• Strong communication skills, ability to work with IT, business and management teams
• Fluency in English
• Willingness to visit the office in Katowice (1× per month)
