Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant for a remote engagement supporting SAP implementation, transformation, and optimization for global clients.

You will design and deliver SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling solutions, working with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to translate requirements and ensure successful delivery through go-live and hypercare.

Job Description

This is a remote position.

For an international technology organization delivering large-scale digital transformation programs, we are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support SAP implementation, transformation, and optimization initiatives for global clients.

As an SAP FICO Consultant, you will play a key role in designing and delivering SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions,

support end-to-end implementations, and ensure successful delivery through go-live and post implementation phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and finance requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions.
• Design, configure, and customize SAP FI and CO functionalities in line with business needs and global standards.
• Participate in or lead end-to-end SAP implementation and transformation projects, from requirements gathering and blueprinting through testing, go-live, and post-go-live support.
• Conduct workshops with business stakeholders and act as a trusted SAP Finance advisor.
• Identify opportunities to optimize and standardize financial processes using SAP solutions.
• Configure and support SAP integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
• Prepare functional specifications and work closely with technical teams on development and enhancements.
• Coordinate and support testing activities, including integration testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP FICO functional and integration issues.
• Support data migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Provide recommendations on process improvements, system enhancements, and SAP best practices.
• Ensure SAP solutions support applicable financial reporting requirements and standards, including GAAP and IFRS where relevant.
• Prepare and maintain project and solution documentation.
• Collaborate with international teams, clients, and other functional and technical SAP specialists

Requirements

• Proven experience as an SAP FICO Consultant, preferably with 6+ years of experience in SAP Finance and Controlling.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI and CO functionalities and their integration points with other SAP modules.
• Solid understanding of accounting, controlling, financial processes, and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with SAP implementation, transformation, or optimization projects.
• Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and production support.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes and the ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and facilitating workshops.
• Good understanding of SAP integration with other modules such as MM, SD, and/or other SAP solutions.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work effectively in an international, project-based environment.

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation or migration projects.
• SAP FICO / SAP Financials certification.
• Experience with global SAP rollouts and template implementations.
• Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Experience in SAP finance transformation and process standardization.
• Experience with integration scenarios involving SAP MM, SD, CO, and other business processes.
• Experience working in large-scale international consulting or technology environments.
