Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking an experienced Central Finance Project Manager to lead SAP S/4HANA Retail and SAP CAR initiatives. You will own delivery, align OTC, Finance and Retail processes, and coordinate global teams across SAP platforms including ECC and CAR.

You will drive integration efforts, manage dependencies, and ensure governance artifacts and risk mitigation across regions and deployment phases. Strong collaboration with Finance and IT teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Project/Program Management experience in SAP Finance programs.
• Experience with Central Finance concepts and finance integrations.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Retail and CAR in OTC contexts.
• Proven ability to lead global, multi-stakeholder teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Central Finance initiatives within SAP S/4HANA Retail and SAP CAR.
• Oversee full project lifecycle: planning, execution, risk management, governance.
• Coordinate client and vendor teams across multiple workstreams.
• Act as primary liaison for Finance and OTC stakeholders.
• Foster collaboration among Finance, Retail, Commerce, Logistics and Integration teams.
• Ensure alignment between business expectations and technical delivery.
• Manage dependencies across OTC, Finance, and integration layers.
• Maintain delivery consistency across regions and deployment phases.
• Develop governance artifacts: RAID logs, delivery plans, reports, resource coordination.
• Ensure adherence to SAP Activate or structured delivery methodologies.
• Monitor scope, timeline, budget; implement risk mitigation.
• Support change management and scope control.
• Lead and mentor delivery teams in a hybrid, distributed setup.
• Drive continuous improvement in SAP Finance programs.
• Ensure quality and compliance across SAP landscapes.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Central Finance (CFIN) Project Manager to lead and coordinate finance-related initiatives within complex SAP S/4HANA Retail and SAP CAR landscapes.

The role requires strong delivery ownership and the ability to independently manage client teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment across Order-to-Cash (OTC), Finance, and Retail processes running across SAP S/4HANA and ECC systems.

The Project Manager will drive execution of integration initiatives, coordinate distributed delivery teams, and ensure the successful delivery of finance and OTC-related capabilities across multiple systems and markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Central Finance initiatives within SAP S/4HANA Retail and SAP CAR environments
• Manage project lifecycle tasks including planning, execution, risk management and governance
• Coordinate client and vendor teams across multiple workstreams
• Serve as the primary coordination point for client stakeholders in Finance and OTC domains
• Facilitate collaboration between Finance, Retail, Commerce, Logistics and Integration teams
• Ensure alignment between business expectations and technical delivery teams
• Coordinate activities across SAP platforms (SAP S/4HANA, ECC and SAP CAR)
• Manage dependencies across OTC streams, Finance processes and integration layers
• Maintain delivery consistency across regions and deployment phases
• Develop and maintain governance artifacts such as RAID logs, delivery plans, status reports and resource coordination
• Ensure adherence to SAP Activate or structured delivery methodologies
• Monitor project scope, timeline and budget while implementing risk mitigation strategies
• Support change management and scope control

Requirements

• 8+ years of Project/Program Management experience with expertise in managing SAP Finance programs or large SAP transformations
• Familiarity with Central Finance (CFIN) concepts and Finance integrations
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Retail and SAP CAR with emphasis on OTC processes in retail
• Proven experience managing client teams, stakeholders and distributed global teams
• Strong facilitation, communication and risk management skills
• Expertise in SAP Activate, Agile or hybrid delivery models
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with Central Finance implementations and finance data replication scenarios
• Understanding of Retail industry processes such as Merchandising, Omnichannel and Commerce
• Exposure to integration technologies such as CPI, IDocs and APIs
• Experience with multi-market rollout programs
