Job summary

Stefanini Group is seeking an SAP CAP Developer to design and build cloud-native applications and extensions using CAP and SAP BTP. You will work on backend services, data models, APIs, and user-facing applications, connecting cloud solutions with enterprise SAP systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration across product and engineering teams, delivering scalable, cloud-native solutions and contributing to CI/CD workflows within a dynamic, global tech environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing production applications with SAP CAP, Node.js, and CDS.
• Knowledge of OData, REST APIs, SQL, and application development practices.
• Experience with SAP BTP and services such as XSUAA/IAS, Destination Service, and SAP HANA Cloud.
• Familiarity with Fiori Elements or SAPUI5 and Cloud Foundry or Kyma deployments.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• ABAP, ABAP Cloud, or RAP experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop domain models, services, and event-driven applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
• Model business data using Core Data Services (CDS) and expose services through OData V2/V4.
• Develop user-facing applications with SAP Fiori Elements and SAPUI5, including CDS annotations.
• Configure and integrate SAP BTP services such as XSUAA/IAS, Destination Service, and SAP HANA Cloud/HDI containers.
• Deploy and operate applications on Cloud Foundry or Kyma and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Connect cloud applications to SAP and non-SAP systems, including cloud-to-on-premise integrations.
• Collaborate with product and engineering colleagues, communicate technical decisions, and share knowledge.
